Born and raised in San José, Costa Rica, Johanna embodies the essence of Pura Vida—a warm, welcoming spirit paired with sharp business acumen and an unwavering commitment to excellence. As the co-owner of a boutique luxury real estate brokerage, she combines her deep local roots with global expertise to guide clients in discovering and investing in the magic of Costa Rica.

Johanna began her career in high-end hospitality at one of Central America’s premier five-star resorts on the Pacific Coast, where she mastered the art of elevated service—always personal, thoughtful, and delivered with genuine care. Her passion for helping people soon led her to real estate, where she began as a showing assistant at a local RE/MAX brokerage. She quickly became fascinated with investment and development opportunities along Costa Rica’s northwestern coast.

In 2009, Johanna relocated with her daughter to Colorado, where she expanded her expertise in institutional property management and residential real estate sales. From Director of Concierge Services to Regional Portfolio Manager, she worked with investors across the U.S. to enhance profitability while creating exceptional living experiences.

Licensed in both the U.S. and Costa Rica, Johanna offers a unique cross-market perspective and a deep understanding of what international buyers are truly looking for.

After designing and building her dream home on Costa Rica’s stunning Pacific Coast, Johanna is once again fully immersed in the country she loves. Alongside her husband—a national real estate speaker—they have built a life rooted in family, nature, and meaningful connections, in the place they love most.
